About this resource

The main objective of this webinar is to explore and highlight the different roles and efforts of different actors in GFF partner countries to access technical and financial resources for civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) Programming. First, the webinar casts light on Ethiopia which has received resources for CRVS strengthening from the GFF Trust Fund and IDA through two successive health programs. Thereafter, officials from the World Bank, GFF Secretariat, and UNICEF shared their experiences and insights on opportunities and challenges in acquiring technical and financial support to strengthen CRVS systems, and how to align and collaborate with other partners at the country level.
