What to Expect in Part II:
The second webinar will focus on adolescent- and youth-friendly health services, examining how quality of health services for youth is measured and how to use evidence in advocacy.
You will hear from University of Toronto students about their experience conducting a desk review of national policies and programs, aimed at assessing how adolescent and youth health services are defined, implemented, and monitored — with the ultimate goal of advising governments on how to improve service delivery. We will also hear about implementation research linking research and advocacy at national level in Uganda.
Interactive breakout sessions and guided group discussions will bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications and foster meaningful exchanges among participants.
This session is designed to help youth advocates and researchers strengthen their understanding of how research evidence can be effectively translated into actionable policies that improve the health and well-being of adolescents.
