In Ghana, we have been trying over the past year to institutionalize the RMET exercise within the Ministry of Health and have encountered several challenges, setbacks and successes through the journey. Over the past couple of weeks, some key Units and personalities within the Ministry of Health and GHS have taken a keen interest in being more ‘hands on’, seeing progress in the process and ensuring continuity of the exercise beyond the production of the Resource Mapping Report for FY22. This is a long way from where we have come and i consider this success and a pleasant turn of events in this mutually beneficial journey since the process is ongoing.
