About this resource
This learning session on World Bank standards and procedures to mitigate GBV (gender-based violence)/sexual harassment risks in projects, presented by Aida Diop from the Social Sustainability and Inclusion Department at the World Bank, explains the rationale and nature of WB standards and procedures, and how these are applied in practice.
Addressing gender-based violence, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and Sexual Harassment (SH) more generally in the context of its development work is a priority for the World Bank. The WB has a suite of requirements to manage GBV/SEA-SH risks in our operations.
