Integrating Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) into IDA Operations

Webinars

About this resource

Adolescents represent a critical demographic for achieving health, human capital, and gender equality outcomes. Despite strong global evidence and normative guidance, integration of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) into World Bank IDA-financed operations – particularly Primary Health Care (PHC) platforms – remains uneven and often insufficiently operationalized.

The current pipeline of Multi-Phase Programmatic Approaches (MPAs) focused on PHC presents a timely opportunity to strengthen ASRH integration at design stage. However, Task Team Leaders (TTLs) and country teams often face challenges in translating evidence and global guidance into practical, implementable components within IDA projects.

To leverage this window of opportunity, the GFF ASRH team is organizing a webinar to support TTLs and country teams in integrating ASRH into the design of IDA-financed PHC operations.

Agenda

  • Opening: Framing, objectives, and context
  • Evidence & Adolescent-Specific Considerations
  • Practical Entry Points for ASRH Integration
  • Country Experiences Panel
  • Wrap-up, Feedback and Next Steps
