This study focuses on the indirect effects of COVID-19 on Essential Health and Nutrition Services (EHNS) in select rural and urban settings in Bangladesh. It specifically seeks to: (i) assess the supply-side challenges and opportunities for EHNS provision, utilization, and coverage; (ii) assess the demand-side challenges and opportunities for EHNS utilization, care-seeking practices and continuum of care; and (iii) propose relevant recommendations arising from the analysis. The methodology comprised both primary and secondary data analysis; the former included: (a) n-depth interviews with different service providers (all tiers of government system, NGO and private) and with the community leaders, (b) focus group discussions with different categories of service providers; and (c) key informant interviews with various stakeholders.
