About this resource

This Health Information System Assessment (HIS) was commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) of Bangladesh with the objective of strengthening the quality of its routinely reported administrative data. Specifically, it focuses on: (a) a review of the existing HIS at the level of two MOHFW service delivery channels; and (b) the development of a roadmap for HIS strengthening considering long term sustainability and a culture of information use.
