About this resource

This Knowledge and Learning Case Study focuses on the factors that either facilitated or inhibited the introduction, adoption and implementation of the single contract in Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) to inform in-country implementation and expansion efforts as well as potential replication in other countries. Focusing on the intermediary level of DRC’s health system, it highlights lessons learned, and challenges faced, as well as the corrective measures taken to address them.
