About this resource

This set of webinars discussed how integrating community health workers into primary healthcare (PHC) teams can strengthen the COVID-19 response and build resilient health systems. During these sessions, government and NGO leaders from Liberia and Ethiopia shared their insights on the role of community-based PHC during the COVID-19 pandemic and elaborated on how the current crisis can galvanize the political will needed to invest in more integrated, effective and durable health systems. These webinars also included remarks on the use of digital platforms to support COVID-19 responses and information on available resources for digital training and investment support.
